No es un descubrimiento que The Chemical Brothers, es uno de los mejores grupos de música electrónica desde hace tiempo. De hecho, para mí tiene mucho mérito que se mantengan en primera línea tanto tiempo, sobre todo ahora que la mayoría de Dj’s producen sus propios discos y sacan temas cada mes, y al año pasan a ser remembers. Pues los Hermanos Químicos siguen ahí desde el 93, sacando nuevos discos, y sus temas se siguen pinchando sin pasar de moda.

Esta vez han querido empaquetar uno de sus directos, ya lo intentaron en el 2000 en Sydney, pero como suele pasar con las grabaciones en directo, el sonido dejaba mucho que desear. En su última gira, en la escala que hicieron en el Fuji Rock Festival japonés, David Smith, colaborador visual de los directos de los Chemical, colocó estratégicamente nada menos que 20cámaras y grabó íntegramente la actuación que dieron.

El resultado es impresionante, tanto el audio como el video. Si has estado alguna vez en un concierto de The Chemical Brothers, con el DVD, Blu-Ray y el CD del directo, puedes experimentar gran parte de las sensaciones que obtienes en una de sus sesiones. Si te gusta su música, como es mi caso, es el mejor recopilatorio que puedes tener del grupo.
