En 2012 se cumple el LXX aniversario de la publicación de La Familia de Pascual Duarte y el X del fallecimiento de su autor “Camilo José Cela”. Una obra maestra de la literatura universal.
Pascual Duarte, campesino extremeño hijo de un alcohólico, nos cuenta su vida mientras espera su propia ejecución en la celda de los condenados a muerte. Víctima de una inexorable fatalidad, Pascual Duarte es un ser primitivo y elemental dominado por la violencia, única respuesta que conoce a la traición y al engaño. Pero esa siniestra apariencia no es más que la máscara que oculta su incapacidad para luchar con la maldad de los demás y la desvalida impotencia que alberga en el fondo de su alma.

Miguel Hermoso se mete en la piel del protagonista, realizando una interpretación colosal, los demás actores de la obra no se quedan atrás, cada uno en su papel ayudan a construir esta historia de la España negra que con los años no acaba de cambiar de color.
La obra se encuentra en estos momentos de gira por un montón de ciudades españolas, a partir del 6 de febrero y hasta el 4 marzo de 2012 se representará en el Teatro Fernán Gómez del Centro Cultural de la Villa de Madrid.
