Soria, ni te la imaginas

Como bien dice el eslogan “ni te la imaginas”, si no has estado en Soria, merece la pena ir. Este fin de semana lo hemos comprobado, esta vez nuestra visita ha sido corta y sólo nos ha dado tiempo a ver Soria ciudad y algo de los alrededores.
Soria es una ciudad pequeña que puedes recorrer a pie, sin estrés. Este fin de semana se celebraba la fiesta de la primavera, había pasa calles, desfile de carrozas y fuegos artificiales y el sábado estaba el centro con bastante ambiente. Por el centro de la ciudad se conservan aún algún establecimiento de esos de toda la vida, que poco a poco van desapareciendo de las ciudades.
Cruzando el río Duero está el claustro de San Juan de Duero, también se conserva el templo que es de una sola nave con dos templetes, me pareció muy curioso los grabados de seres fantasmagóricos que hay en lo alto de estos.
Dando un paseo por la orilla del Duero llegas a San Saturio, para mí es la joya de Soria, desde una gruta cavada en la roca accedes a varias salas dedicadas “como no” a uso religioso. El templo está muy bien conservado y rehabilitado, al salir hay una excelente vista desde el otro lado del río; cuando salimos estaba atardeciendo y el sol daba justo en el templo, La vista era espectacular.
Por supuesto que comer se come de maravilla, hay gran variedad de productos de la zona, resaltar las seta y boletus, que puedes degustar en la mayoría de restaurantes que hay en la ciudad. Por la noche también hay ambiente, tienes varios sitios donde ir, te puedes quedar por el centro tomando algo por los bares y sus terrazas o puedes ir al lado de la plaza de toros que está “La Zona”, hay un montón de garitos donde estuvimos tomando unas copillas y echándonos unos bailes.
El domingo, de regreso fuimos a visitar primero Numancia, con un breve paseo te puedes hacer una idea de cómo vivían los celtíberos, después Calatañazor, es un pueblo medieval precioso que está muy cerquita de Soria, el pueblo tiene los restos de un castillo, nos llamaron la atención las chimeneas de las casas, son cónicas hechas de teja, hay varios restaurantes y tiendas de productos típicos. Por último hicimos una parada en El Burgo de Osma, que como siempre estaba precioso, esta vez fue una visita rápida pero El Burgo es un pueblo para recrearse y disfrutar de sus calles.
Soriatiene mucho para disfrutar, tanto en turismo rural como cultural, no dejéis de programar una escapada por que merece la pena.
