Como este año está viniendo cargado de triunfos deportivos para el deporte español, no podía faltar uno del deporte colectivo femenino. La Selección de baloncesto ha logrado por primera vez un titulo en un mundial, ha sido el bronce, pero sabe a oro porque la semifinal la jugamos contra Estados Unidos, que son de otro planeta. Claro que si aquí le diésemos más importancia al deporte de equipo femenino otros triunfos vendrían.
Una mención especial para Anna Montañana,[1] nuestra pívot, que ha completado un mundial extraordinario y que tal y como están las cosas aquí con el deporte de equipo femenino, el año pasado aprovechó la oportunidad y se fue a jugar a la WNBA a los Minnesota Lynx.
Espero que este triunfo sirva para que las federaciones se pongan las pilas y dediquen más a las categorías femeninas de básquet y de otros deportes, y esta selección que tiene muy buena pinta nos haga vibrar y vengamos con otra medalla en las Olimpiadas de 2012.

Nos dirigimos a Ustedes con el afán de dar a conocer nuestra publicación, si es que aún no nos conocen.
Somos campeonas.com, ( [4] http://www.campeonas.com ) un portal español dedicado única y exclusivamente a cubrir noticias de deportistas femeninas españolas.
Desde hace un par de años observamos que la cobertura del deporte femenino era escasa, prácticamente nula, y decidimos entonces incluir un gran número de actividades deportivas en nuestra web.
Contamos con una buena cantidad de secciones e intentamos difundir tanto las disciplinas en las que participan atletas de elite como los eventos disputados en cualquier pequeña población.
El hecho de que una mujer española este participando de cualquier actividad deportiva es suficiente mérito para tener lugar en nuestra web.
No estamos interesados en noticias de prensa rosa u otro tipo de escándalos. No nos interesa la vida privada de la deportista, sino su actividad en la disciplina que practica.
Somos un sitio en constante crecimiento y nuestras fuentes de noticia son variadas. Nos alimentamos de noticias que recogemos en los distintos medios de prensa españoles, comunicados de Federaciones nos hacen llegar, colaboradores y algunas investigaciones propias.
Con el afán de seguir superándonos, solicitamos su colaboración. En este sentido les pedimos que nos hagan llegar a este mail ( [5] prensa@campeonas.com ) cualquier tipo de información que deseen difundir para poder publicada.
Entre todos podemos hacer que campeonas.com crezca aún más y le de a la mujer el lugar que justamente y realmente se merece en lo que a cobertura deportiva se refiere.
