La londinense Adele Adkins, acaba de publicar su segundo álbum “21”, ya con el primero logró alcanzar el número uno en ventas en el Reino Unido, aunque mucho antes de publicar su primer larga duración “19”, publicó varios singles en internet con gran éxito, lo que le llevó a hacer una gira con varios artistas ingleses. Tiene una voz potente y a la altura de las mejores voces del Soul.
Ahora con “21” pretende consolidarse en la industria musical, y seguro que lo consigue, porque aunque se aleja del panorama comercial, desborda talento, y si bien al escucharla se nos vengan a la mente artistas como Duffi o Amy Winehause, cuando escuchas varias veces sus trabajos te das cuenta que son mucho más originales y que poseen más calidad, destacando que ella compone la mayoría de los temas.
En “21” hay un acercamiento a la música negra, con grandes melodías, con desgarros de voz tormentosos y un equilibrio entre fuerza y sensibilidad.

Lo mejor de todo, como bien nos recuerda ella en el titulo de sus discos es su juventud, espero que tenga una exitosa y larga carrera musical.
