El refranero popular español dice que hasta el cuarenta de mayo no te quites el sayo, pues bien, año tras año, haciendo caso omiso, vuelvo a cometer el mismo error.
La semana pasada llegó el calor; el lunes, en mi armario sólo tenía ropa de invierno y todas las tardes estuve ocupada haciendo un cursito absurdo. El lunes me achicharré de calor con mi rebequita de lana, así que el martes opté por los socorridos vaqueros y alguna camisa de manga larga, indumentaria con la que he sobrevivido hasta el viernes. El sábado aproveché para guardar toda mi ropa de invierno, incluidas las faldas que no me he puesto en todo el invierno porque hacía demasiado frío y esperaba ponerme antes de que llegase el calor; pues bien, como el calor había llegado de golpe, las falditas ya resultaban demasiado calurosas. También aproveché para poner una lavadora detrás de otra, lavando mis abrigos y mis jerseis de lana (con el calor que hacía todo se secaba en un par de horas). Cuando llegó el domingo por la noche, por fin la primavera había llegado a mi armario, pero ¡oh sorpresa!, el lunes ¡cómo no! ¡siempre en lunes! volvió el frío y como yo había guardado todos mis pantalones de invierno y las falditas, vuelvo a colocarme los socorridos vaqueros. Total, que esta semana sigo en vaqueros, como todas las primaveras, pasando frío, porque ya he guardado los jerseis de lana y me da no se qué volver a ponerme los abrigos que ya están lavados.
¿Saco las falditas o espero al fin de semana a ver si vuelve el calor? Aunque claro, con el aire que hace, ¡cómo para ponerse una faldita de entretiempo!.
